The details an organizer matches you on, which of them are public, and why you need a profile before you can enter.
An event will not take your entry until you have a fighter profile. Until then, the event page says “Complete your fighter profile first” with a Complete profile button, and your dashboard shows Complete your fighter profile.
None of the boxes on the page is required. Saving it once, with whatever you have filled in, is what creates your profile — but the more you fill in, the more an organizer has to match you on.
Fighter profile in your account menu, or in Settings below Profile.
You need the Fighter role and a confirmed email address. Until your address is confirmed, the Settings item reads Confirm your email address first. See choosing your roles and verifying your email address.
Your name, photo and gym are not on this page either. They are under Settings → Profile.
Choose ft/in or cm, then fill in either or both. Unlike your weight, switching units converts what you have typed.
| In ft/in | In cm | |
|---|---|---|
| Height | 3 to 8 feet, plus 0 to 11 inches | 100 to 250 |
| Reach | 40 to 100 inches | 100 to 260 |
Whole numbers only. If you give inches for your height, give the feet too.
The weight you usually expect to compete at. When you register for an event the form fills it in for you, and you can change it there.
Pick lb or kg for the unit you are typing in. The toggle labels your number; it does not convert it. Give it to at most one decimal place.
Changing it here does not change a weight you have already declared on an event. See declaring your weight.
Your own figures (W / L / D) are three boxes: wins, losses and draws, as whole numbers of zero or more.
They are yours, and nothing checks them. Wherever your record appears, including on an event’s public competitor list, it is marked Self-reported.
If your account is connected to a federation through Webpoint (see connected accounts), the Record section may also show what your federation’s own member directory says about you — that you are a current member, for instance, or that it holds no membership for you. When the federation keeps a match record for you, that appears too, as wins and losses. A line underneath says how recently it was checked.
Not every federation can be asked. If yours cannot, nothing is shown. If a check fails, the page says it could not check your membership just now.
Press Save profile. You go back to your dashboard, which confirms the profile was saved. Come back any time to change it.
Your record appears beside your name on the competitor list of any published event you enter. If you are 18 or over, your public profile can also show your competition weight, gender division, height, reach and stance. See your public profile.
